Like many of us in Michigan, I was born and raised in Detroit!
Known as The Motor City or The D to many. Detroit is where I was born and raised. Raised in the northwest part of Detroit near the Avenue of Fashion may have helped me identify my passion for fashion. Having grandparents who loved to shop and tailor clothes probably also helped. Living in Detroit and visiting our many museums, restaurants, and historical landmarks helped to enhance my knowledge of fashion. Detroit has a lot to offer and over the past years has made a come back with a vengeance. Many known artists and fashion guru’s have come out of this amazing city (including meeeeee).
